Introducing Season 8
The time you spent within the comforting walls of Vault 76 may seem a little fuzzy after several years in the harsh Wasteland, but you still remember it well: The security and peace of mind that the Vault brought in uncertain times, the many creature comforts that made life underground feel cozy, the DRAMA of living in close quarters with lots of strong personalities. . .
Revisit a simpler time to follow along with other Dwellers as they live out their daily lives inside one of Vault-Tec’s many cutting-edge subterranean facilities. Follow along as our heroic Dwellers go on the hunt for a covert communist, find out what happens when the Overseer develops a case of amnesia, experience an impassioned love triangle that will tug at your heart strings, and more during Fallout 76 Season 8.
What’s New in Season 8?
The new Season will begin as soon as patch maintenance is complete on March 1. Once it does, you’ll be able to start your journey on the new Scoreboard, and lay claim to an all-new suite of 100 rank-up rewards that include some of Vault-Tec’s finest equipment. There are a variety of new Daily Challenges to conquer this Season, as well as a fresh round of dramatic radio plays that you can tune into during your adventures.
In addition, the fine folks at Vault-Tec understand that, for those who choose to rank up with Atoms, purchasing each rank-up one-by-one can be a chore. They’ve engineered a solution that will help you purchase as many rank-ups as you would like, all in one go. Head to the Scoreboard once Season 8 is available, select the rank you want to reach, and then press the “Rank Up to Here” button. After confirming your decision, you will instantly progress to that rank on the Scoreboard, and will unlock all of the rewards between it and where you began.
A Fresh Set of Season Rewards
Whether you’re after amenities and décor for your C.A.M.P., new paints for your armor, weapons, or Power Armor, outfits, in-game currencies, or consumables, this Season’s got something for everyone. Make sure to pick up the Exercise Bike at Rank 5 and give it a spin to temporarily increase your Endurance. Don’t forget to build the Harmaceutical Chemistry Station to aid in crafting all of your latest experimental concoctions. You can also adorn your personal armory with Free States and Vault-Tec themed appearances for your weapons and armors, including the new Vault-Tec Hellcat Power Armor paint.
At Rank 25, you’ll also meet Sam Nguyen, a new Ally whose dual talents for engineering and musician ship have driven them to survive against all odds on the road to Appalachia. Speak with Sam to receive a “Tune-Up,” which will provide you with one of several temporary buffs, like increased Charisma, reduced Junk weight, or more effective weapon and armor repairs, among others.

2022 Roadmap & New Community Calendar Revealed
We released our 2022 Roadmap earlier this week, which shares an overview of our plans for Fallout 76 this year, including the arrival of Expeditions, a host of new events, improvements, new Seasons and more. We’re kicking things off with the “Invaders from Beyond” Update in March, which introduces an out-of-this-world new Seasonal event, and improvements for Fallout Worlds. Summer will see the introduction of new Public Events, including “Test Your Metal”, which places us at the center of the action as the Brotherhood of Steel engages in gladiatorial combat against deadly Blood Eagle robots. As we head into Fall, Expeditions will take us beyond Appalachia’s borders for the first time to complete new Missions and conquer threats in The Pitt. Finally, we’re rounding out the year with a traveling road show that’s sure to quench your thirst to square off against a new region boss, and take on new Public Events.
