Buy GameTall or short, green or purple, cold, slimy, peaceful or… otherwise, everybody knows there are extra-planetary beings out there.
What you might not know is that visitors from outer space wearing power armor have arrived in Appalachia. That’s right Vault Dwellers, it’s Invaders from Beyond and it's got new rewards.
In Fallout 76, from April 30 to May 14, noon to noon ET respectively, all you terrestrials are getting a galactic surprise. Not to spoil that surprise, but these aliens are green, of varying heights, and can come in Cyrogenic and Toxic flavors. (We do not recommend eating the aliens.) In this event, you’ll defend Appalachia against the flying saucer menace from outer space here to steal your brainwaves!
At the top of every hour, when you see a Frisbee-shaped UFO hovering over one of several important locations in Appalachia, that’s your cue. Investigate the strange technology that the aliens have beamed down and stop them from obtaining any data, which may we remind you, are your precious Appalachian brainwaves. While you’re fighting off rank-and-file Aliens, Captain and Invader Aliens, watch out for the Siphons—the tech that’s taking your ‘waves. When the Siphon’s meter fills, your group will fail the challenge, and the aliens will get what they came for. Stop them before it’s too late!
Out of this world rewards and Atomic Shop items
Once you’ve kicked some (as in a lot) of alien butt and successfully completed the challenge, you’ll earn XP, caps and new rewards.
You could earn this fashionable Hazmat Suit in a subtle teal. While it won’t protect you from rising radiation levels, it will make you look fabulous. You’ll also have the chance to earn plans for a glowing green Alien Head Lamp, to commemorate your triumph over the alien menace, and its perfect companion, the Glowing Flatwoods Monster Lamp.
Of course, you’ll need somewhere to show off your new lamps; win the Invaders from Beyond event to get a chance to earn the C.A.M.P. plan for your very own Alien Table. Need to brush up on your marksmanship? There’s the Alien Target Practice Sheet plan.
For purchase in the Atomic Shop during the Invaders from Beyond event on May 7, give your Power Armor a coat of the Flatwoods Monster Power Armor Paint for the complete interplanetary look. If regular Earthling doors aren’t keeping the raiders out, purchase the Alien Laser Door to fillet your foes.
