Fallout 76 Gets Steel Reign Update, Free Week & More

It’s never a dull moment in Appalachia.

Whether you’ve just emerged from the Vault or been settling the area since launch, Fallout 76 has a ton of exciting content coming to a wasteland near you. From an all-new questline to Free Week and sales, see below for everything that’s just been announced for the game!

SHAPE THE BROTHERHOOD’S FUTURE IN STEEL REIGN

The Appalachian chapter of The Brotherhood of Steel is on the verge of collapse as a new threat emerges in Steel Reign, a new questline coming soon in a free update for all Fallout 76 players.

Previously in the Steel Dawn questline, the Appalachian Brotherhood proved victorious in the battle at Fort Atlas, but was left battered and bruised. Players must travel to brand-new locations, unlocking new items as they bring peace back to Appalachia and navigate the growing schism between Paladin Rahmani and Knight Shin, deciding the fate of the Brotherhood itself.

PREPARE FOR THE COMING STORM

In the lead-up to Steel Reign, players can assist the Brotherhood of Steel and expand their influence across Appalachia during the Coming Storm event. From June 15 to July 6, complete challenges and take over workshops to unlock rewards!

GO BEYOND APPALACHIA WITH EXPEDITIONS: THE PITT

That’s right, players will expand their horizons with Expeditions: The Pitt, taking them to the post-nuclear Pittsburgh first introduced in Fallout 3. What awaits you when you make your arrival? Find out when Expeditions: The Pitt comes to Fallout 76 in 2022!

FREE WEEK, SALES AND MORE!

There’s no better time to begin your journey across Appalachia than now! Until June 16, all newcomers are welcome to the region during our Free Week.
