Buy GameIt has been an exciting week in Appalachia following the release of our Test Your Metal Update for Fallout 76!
In this edition of Inside the Vault, we’re sharing an Update Highlights video so that you can catch a rundown on what’s in store for you the next time you log in. We’ve also got details on bonus rank-ups for Bethesda Launcher players who migrated to Steam early, the final two chapters in our series of Season 9 Radio Plays, and information on Minerva’s Big Sale taking place this weekend.
Test Your Metal Update Highlights
In case you missed patch day, our latest update brought the “Test Your Metal,” “Moonshine Jamboree,” and “Eviction Notice” Public Events to the game, alongside Fallout 76 Season 9, a new suite of rank-up rewards, Fallout 1st Scoreboard improvements, the Corpse Highlights setting, and more. Watch our video below to take a closer look at the new Public Events, and to get a rundown on other highlights from the update.
Catch even more details about the Test Your Metal Update by reading through our patch notes on Fallout.com. Then, head in-game to join the mayhem with one of our three new Public Events guaranteed at the top of every hour until June 28.
Steam Migration Season Rank-Ups Now Available
Attention PC players!
If you owned Fallout 76 through the Bethesda Launcher and migrated your account to Steam between April 27 and May 11, then you’ve “S.C.O.R.E.”d 10 bonus rank-ups for Season 9 as our way of saying thank you for transferring your account early. We began the process of rolling out the bonus rank-ups on patch day, and everyone who completed the migration to Steam during that window should now be 10 ranks further along on their Season 9 journeys. Make sure to visit the Scoreboard in-game to claim each of your new rewards, and we hope you have a blast this Season!

In case you haven’t had the chance to catch the final two chapters in our audio adventures on the mysterious Dread Island, you can tune into both by watching our latest Radio Play video below. Join Anna and Emilio Franklin, and their assaultron bodyguard, “H-4RT,” as they encounter the many wonders and perils hidden around every corner of the island. Will the unlikely trio manage to find a way back to civilization, or will they remain stranded forever?

Visit Minerva this Weekend
Whether you’ve been stuffing your pockets full of Treasury Notes from our new Public Events, or you’ve been hoarding Gold Bullion since the last Gold Rush weekend, right now is the perfect time to cash in on some new item plans from Minerva’s Big Sale. Appalachia’s famed Blue Ridge merchant is back in town, and her inventory is brimming with item plans that you can pick up in exchange for your gold. Minerva will set up shop just outside of The Crater, Foundation, or Fort Atlas starting at 12:00 p.m. ET today, but her Big Sale will only last until Monday, June 20, so make sure to strike up a few deals by then.
