Welcome Back!

start the next phase of our Summer PTS.

SPOILER WARNING: If you are someone who doesn’t normally participate in PTS, but likes to keep up with the news, we recommend you stop reading here and try to avoid datamines/news about this content. A lot of fun lies in the surprise!

Today we will begin testing a series of experimental activities made specifically for the Fall update. This content will roll out over time. Every few days, a new batch will turn on. Keep your eyes on the PTS channels of our Discord to see what has changed, and where to leave your feedback.

There are new short seasonal activities (which will appear under the Side tab of your Pip-Boy), challenges, enemies to fight out in the world, and tweaks to existing content such as Daily Ops, Infestations, and even Head Hunts. We won't spoil the things you’ll be doing; that's for you to discover!

REMINDER: Everything in the PTS is subject to change.

Public Test Server Schedule

Here’s a breakdown of the testing schedule for these experimental activities. The schedule presented in the PTS is expedited so we can make sure testers have enough time with the different parts of this experience. This schedule does not reflect our plans for when this update is released.

  • Friday July 17 12 PM EST, Activity 1, Mask Collecting Challenges
  • Sunday July 19, Activity 2, Grave Digging
  • Tuesday July 21, Daily Ops – New Faction
  • Thursday July 23, Activity 3, New Infestation Faction
  • Saturday July 25, Activity 4, Spooky Scorched changes, and Uninvited Guest Boss in Head Hunts
  • Monday July 27 – Wednesday July 29, Everything Will Be Deactivated
  • Wednesday July 29, Everything Turned Back On until PTS Closes

If you’re ever in doubt about what you should be doing, check for the current available activity under the quest "(Seasonal) The Slasher" (which can be tracked and untracked in the "Side" Data tab of your Pip-Boy). You can also check the Challenge menu for new collectible challenges marked with the “(Seasonal)” label (not to be confused our S.C.O.R.E. based Daily and Weekly challenges that contribute to your larger Season progression).

PTS Testing Features

Before we dive into the new content coming with this update, we wanted to make sure we called out two additions to the PTS locker.

Leveling Potions

Added Potion of Experience I, II, III, and IV which provides 1, 10, 100, and 1000 levels to the character that drinks it. This can be used on existing and newly created characters, and the potions can be found in the PTS locker.

Currency and Ammo Crates

Two new crates that grant currency and ammo to assist in testing needs. Once obtained from the PTS Locker, the crates can be found in the MISC category of your Pip-Boy.
