This week, we’re sharing a look into our plans for future community-reported bug fixes, details on a new Purveyor Sale that’s coming just in time for Black Friday, and a pair of reminders about community activities you can take part in.
Future Fixes and Improvements
When Update 15 launched earlier this week, we read feedback from some of you who were disappointed that it did not contain as many bug fixes as you had hoped. This week, we’d like to share a status update on what we’ve been doing to address some of the community’s top requested bug fixes.
We are still moving full steam ahead on Wastelanders, and it doesn’t just contain new quests and NPCs. It’s also the current home of a large list of bug fixes that we’ve been working hard to implement for launch, many of which are issues that have been reported to us directly by players like you.
We take these issues seriously, and many fixes are currently in the works across all areas of the game. Below, we’ve rounded up a few of the community’s top-reported bugs from this list that we’re planning to swat leading up to, and including, the Wastelanders update. Going forward, we will continue to post updates on bug fixes like these as soon as we have firm details to share.
Upcoming Community Bug Fixes
Disappearing Corpses: The dead should stay put—especially when there’s loot to be had! We’ve internally addressed an issue that could sometimes cause enemy corpses to suddenly vanish, and we want to get this fix to you as soon as we can.
+250 Damage Resist: The legendary weapon effect that provides +250 damage resistance while aiming is being addressed. With this upcoming fix, it will no longer suppress the weapon’s primary legendary attribute.
Sliding Enemies: Some of you have encountered enemies like Ghouls and Scorched that occasionally glide rigidly over the terrain. While that’s eerie in its own way, these creatures are more frightening when they’re chasing you on their own two feet. We are going to make sure they get their animations back.
Jumps and Jetpacks: For those of you who rock a jetpack on your Power Armor, we have a fix so that performing a normal jump will no longer send you sky-high by sometimes activating the jetpack.
Automatic Weapon Fire: When it comes time to fire your weapon in the Wasteland, you need to be able to rely on it. Automatic weapons, like the Gatling Guns, are being fixed so they no longer fail to fire if you aim down the sights while the barrel is spinning.
As stated above, we are looking to move as many of these fixes as we can into an earlier patch—likely in December. However, we need to be sure we can do this safely, without creating any issues in future updates. Once we’ve confirmed that we can implement some of them sooner, we will let you know.
Your bug reports and ongoing feedback for the game are still very important to us, and always will be. We see and discuss community reports daily, investigate and prioritize them internally, and fix them as soon as it’s possible to do so. Please continue to share your thoughts and in-game experiences with us using the forums, the FO76 Subreddit, social media, and Customer Support tickets.
Thanksgiving Legendary Purveyor Sale

Thanksgiving is just around the corner, which means it is time once again to invite friends and loved ones over, show gratitude for the new lives we’ve all managed to carve out in Appalachia, and of course, chow down on a massive feast together. When you’re done with all that, check in with the Purveyor for a great deal on some new gear, because she’s kicking off a weeklong legendary sale event!
Save up your Scrips over the next few days and then take them to the Purveyor’s shop at Berkeley Springs Station to get 25% off legendary weapons and armor, starting next Tuesday. Here are the dates and times for the event:
- Event Start: 12:00 p.m. ET on Tuesday, November 26
- Event End: 12:00 p.m. ET on Tuesday, December 3
Upcoming Community Activities

Community Streams
Our U.S.-based Fallout 76 streams went on a temporary hiatus while we made some upgrades to our streaming setup. We’re up and running again, and will be back in action each week with a new episode for you. Drop by our streams on Twitch or Mixer at 1:00 p.m. ET on Wednesdays to join members of the community team during their adventures in Appalachia, catch a look at the latest additions to the game, or just to chat. We hope to see you there!
Around Appalachia
Calling all photographers! Every other week, we host Around Appalachia photomode challenges, which you can take part in to share your latest and greatest snapshots. Get your camera ready to show off your best use of filters during our next challenge, which will begin on Friday, November 22. Send your submissions to us in the Around Appalachia forum thread that we will post tomorrow at 11:00 a.m. ET.
After the submission deadline, we will select some of our favorite photos and feature them on Fallout.com and social media so that other Dwellers can admire your hard work and artistic eye!
