**Free Play Week and Fallout 1st Limited Preview **
First time venturing into the Wasteland? Recruiting friends to carve their own little slice of Appalachia? There’s no better time to jump in than a Free Play Week! From October 23 - October 30 starting at 12PM ET, Fallout 76 will be free to play on Steam, Xbox and PlayStation platforms.
From October 31 - November 6, we will also be offering a Fallout 1st Limited Preview. During this period, you can try out a selection of premium features that come with a Fallout 1st subscription for free and claim the Red Mr. Fuzzy Tinker's Workbench with the free trial.
Spooky Scorched
Anniversary plans or no, it wouldn’t be Spooky season in Appalachia without the Scorched! From October 24 – November 7, players can hunt the costumed mobs roaming the area for Mystery Candy, Spooky Treat Bags and legendary items!
During this event, players can also pick up the Spooky Candy Bowl for free from the Atomic Shop and fill it with Mystery Candy gathered from the costumed Scorched for others to enjoy. C.A.M.P.s with candy bowls will be designated on the map with a pumpkin icon. Giving out candy and other trick-or-treat activities earn progress towards Halloween-themed challenges for even more rewards like the Mothman Nest!
Wasteland Classroom Streams
We are also running a couple streams during the 5th anniversary for players who want to brush up on their wasteland knowledge. The Wasteland Classroom streams will feature tips, tricks, and advice from veteran players. Join us October 25 on Twitch to watch Ken from Chad: A Fallout 76 Podcast learn next-level C.A.M.P. building techniques from King Gothalion. Then on November 1, Tooniversal will teach NerdyNetty about advanced character builds. We’ll be giving away Atoms throughout the streams.
Birthday Challenge and Parade Stream
From November 7 – 21, claim and don the Birthday Suit from the Atomic Shop. Complete anniversary daily challenges wearing the suit for rewards. Complete enough daily challenges to fulfill the weekly challenge for even more rewards!
On November 14, celebrate with us on Twitch for a special Fallout 76 birthday parade stream with Atom giveaways and parade floats!
